Polyato is a language tutor you talk to in WhatsApp. There is no app to install and no lesson to schedule. You send a message the way you would to a friend, and Polly answers, corrects you, and keeps the conversation going in the language you are learning.
Our mission
Most people who study a language for years still freeze the first time they have to speak it. We think that is a product problem, not a talent problem. Polyato exists to give every learner the one thing drill-based apps cannot: unlimited, patient, judgement-free conversation practice with a tutor that corrects you in the moment, in the app you already open dozens of times a day.
Why we built it
We started Polyato after watching friends finish long streaks on popular language apps and still be unable to order a coffee abroad. The research on second-language acquisition is consistent: learners who produce language, by speaking and writing, outperform learners who only recognise it. So we stopped building exercises and built something you can talk to instead. WhatsApp was the obvious home for it, because a chat thread is the most natural place a conversation can live, and because more than two billion people already have it.
How Polyato works
You chat with Polly about whatever you like and get corrections and explanations as you go, in your own language when you need them. You can send voice notes and get spoken replies back, so pronunciation and listening get the same practice as reading and writing. When you want a change of pace there are games, reading, vocabulary and grammar drills, all inside the same thread. Instruction is available in 84 languages, so beginners are never taught in a language they do not yet understand.

The free plan needs no credit card and no download; Premium adds unlimited practice, voice, and the more advanced model. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record.
How we handle your data
Polyato is GDPR compliant. We collect only what is needed to run your lessons, we never sell personal data, and you can ask us to export or delete your account and history at any time by emailing support@polyato.com. The privacy policy sets out exactly what we store, why, and for how long.
